iTools 6 Technical Support

Welcome to the iTools 6 Technical suport page. On this page, we have tried to provide the most complete support possible for this very new and exciting product.

Current Support Issues
  • Update to iTools 6.5.7.

Update your iTools to version 6.5.7. This will fix any security issues with previous apache or bind versions.

Note: For Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server version 10.2.3, Apple has changed the name of the startup script for BIND which causes a conflict with iTools. In order to fix this problem and ensure that the iTools DNS service will continue to work properly, execute the following command in the terminal. (This command will delete the /System/Library/StartupItems/BIND directory and can be executed either before or after installing iTools 6.5.7.)

    sudo rm -rf /System/Library/StartupItems/BIND
