GTK+ Yahoo Messenger Clone.

GAIM

GTK+ AOL Instant Messenger Clone.

PyMol

3D Molecule representation package.

Due to licensing restrictions, we can no longer distribute Molscript. Instead, we are providing PyMol, which is a Python based, free alternative. For more information, please visit the PyMol website.

This package also contains the complete Python 2.1 software distribution, which is required to operate PyMol.

Libraries

gnomelib

Gnome library of widgets used for adding graphical user interfaces to your applications.

jpeg

Supplies support functions for the image format "JPEG", to programs that are linked to it.

gtk+ and glib

GTK, which stands for the Gimp ToolKit, is a library for creating graphical user interfaces. It is designed to be small and efficient, but still flexible enough to allow the programmer freedom in the interfaces created. GTK provides some unique features over standard widget libraries.GLib is a library containing many useful C routines for things such as trees, hashes, and lists.

To install any of the above, simply run:
tar zxf -C/<INSTALLDIRECTORY> <FILENAME> as root, and then, in the <INSTALLDIRECTORY>, run "make install"
